Chia seeds are a great source of vitamins, minerals and trace elements. All of these nutrients have their own important roles to play.

Vitamin A: helps to soften the tissue and in bone formation, produce the necessary pigments in the retina of the eye. An important vitamin for correct eyesight. 

Vitamin B1: Useful for the conversion of sugars, oxygen metabolism management as well as for transmission of nerve impulses.
