Chondroitin sulphate

Chondroitin is one of the best known nutrients for the joints. It participates in the renewal and maintenance of joint surfaces and is therefore necessary especially for horses in heavy workout or competition.

Chondroitin sulfate is a particularly important ingredient as a lubricant for joint fluids and at the same time supports the well-being and endurance of cartilage.


The amount of chondroitin in the body decreases with aging, and as the level of exercise and the load on sports horses increases, the body is not able to produce enough of this essential nutrient for the joints.

• Chondroitin sulfate is found in the connective tissue and cell membranes of all vertebrates and is an important part of cartilage core protein among others.
• Chondroitin sulfate is a nutrient that maintains joint flexibility, elasticity, and pressure resistance, effectively stimulating cartilage metabolism and preventing the breakdown of cartilage tissue.
• Particularly well suited for heavy-duty, older or horses and dogs whose joints need support and rehabilitation.

Chondroitin can be added to the diet of the horse for a day to ensure the joints function.


Recommended use for at least three months. For older horses, for day-to-day use, as required and with sports horses, at least as the load rises and during the heavy season.

15 g / day.

1 tbsp = 12 g.
